WEEKLY THOUGHTS:

" Is there no aspect of our lives that Congress will not nose in to? Words fail me when trying to describe the disgust I feel for the obnoxious, officious, opportunistic, unprincipled, lying (Do they really mean their oaths to uphold the U.S. Constitution ?), arrogant, imperious, and duplicitous creeps who are in Congress.

They are utterly without question worthy of only ridicule and disrespect."

That seems to cover it!

AGGRESSORS AGAINST FREEDOM

On the day the Constitution was ratified every American (other than those under the ugly system of slavery) was FREE. At that point Americans could not become more free because Free was Free from government. They could not be the Aggressors as far as their individual Freedom was concerned. Therefore only those who would attack their Freedom could be the aggressors. As with any group, there are always those who want to control others, either for some perceived good or for evil. Regardless of the motivation, the attacker on the Freedom of an individual or a group of individuals is the Aggressor. Anyone who looks to government to make a law affecting another individuals life is guilty of aggression. The aggressors can come in a variety of flavors, bullies, thieves, fascists, dictators or socialists, etc. No matter the label, they are the aggressors against Freedom and should be treated as such. They should be stopped at even the slightest intrusion into Freedom, because, as we all know, it is like a cancer and will only grow unless it is cut out.

Human beings have a great deal of tolerance, and in many cases more that they should have. They tend to let minor irritants continue because they are not worth the trouble to do something about it. With Freedom, as with cancer, that is a very dangerous posture. If it is not cured at a very early stage, it can mean death. The Constitution was written to protect the Freedom of every individual in America. It hasn't worked out that way. The Aggressors have succeeded in taking much of our Freedom away from us without much of a battle. There are many meetings and discussions by politicians but they have failed in maintaining our Freedom. The conflict seems to be in the politicians motivation. They are human and have the same faults that the average American has. Power and greed are high on the list. The difference is that the average man does not have the power of the government with him and therefore his power is greatly limited but he is free to pursue financial gain as far as his efforts, talents and abilities will take him. The politician was given limited powers also, but has been able to usurp powers not given him and he uses and abuses these usurped powers to his personal benefit, thereby being dishonest with the people who elected him. His pursuits very seldom have any resemblance to the FOCUS ON FREEDOM of his constituents nor the Freedom of millions of non-constituents that he also votes for or against. So politicians who vote for any bill that takes Freedom from any innocent individual is by definition, an Aggressor.

One might ask "then why do we have representatives if they don't make laws?" The answer is that their job is to preserve our Freedom, not take it. There are tasks that were given them in the Constitution but taking our Freedom was not one of them. The usurping of powers not given them has allowed them to invade every facet of our lives if they so choose. Just look at the past 10 years of invasions. This boils down to never electing a representative who thinks his job is to make laws. At this point we should only elect people to repeal laws, until all are repealed, and to carry out duties as narrowly spelled out in the Constitution. This would be similar to corporation boards hiring a tough task master to weed out the dead wood that is causing the business to fail. Presidents, Supreme Court Justices, fall under these same restrictions. If they do not desire to do this they should be replaced. Possibly the impeachment rules should be changed whereby any of the 545 officials ( House 435, Senate 100, Supreme Court 9, President 1) that take an action that restricts our Freedom is to be impeached rather than discuss the matter with him or her. The first question when an idea of a new law comes up should be IS THIS CONSTITUTIONAL? If not, the matter should be dropped right there. If the voters would FOCUS ON FREEDOM which was gained by the first revolution the politicians would be forced to do the same or be out of a job. FOCUS ON FREEDOM.

If the Federal government had not failed to halt the slave trade in 1805 as the Constitution directed; and if the Federal government had followed the spirit of the Constitutional amendments after the Civil War; and if the Federal government had not kept the military segregated until 1948; and if the Federal government had used its force to protect all Americans equally and desegregate schools from the Civil War until the 1960's; and if the Federal government treated all Americans as equal under the law, there would be no Civil Rights law where the Federal government orders discrimination against all of the people who are not minorities; and if the Federal government and the people in the Federal government kept their FOCUS ON FREEDOM, there would not be this continuation of accusations of racism that are kept alive mostly by the failures of the Federal government. Here again the FOCUS ON FREEDOM would stop race baiting, and would stop pitting one group against another for political gain; would stop the continual mantra to hate the rich and take from them that which they have produced. It is impossible to stop hate in human beings but it is unconscionable for the Federal government, (meaning people in the Federal government) to promote this hate. The people in the Federal government don't seem to want peace in America, otherwise they would FOCUS ON FREEDOM instead of continually stirring the pot causing instability. Freedom brings peace, hate brings strife. The Aggressors are the instigators of strife and hate.
