Raise Your Sights

With all of the talk, writings, complaining, criticism, blame, condemnations, waffling etc. there is not enough FOCUS ON FREEDOM. America was built on Freedom and only Freedom will put America back onto the path that encourages every individual to do the best and achieve the best that he or she can do. Unimaginable numbers of suggestions and analysis have been made by many of the smartest and most politically astute Americans from all types of philosophies. But there is a great dearth of commentary on the single most important message of America, and that message is Freedom. There seems to be a tremendous fear of supporting pure Freedom. This is an enormous disappointment to those of us who know that only pure Freedom will solve the multitude of troubles that afflict America today. Freedom is moral, virtuous, responsible, fair, just, encouraging, character building and honest. There is not another philosophy that can even come close in a comparison of a way of life.

It is amazing that Americans cannot FOCUS ON FREEDOM long enough to see through all of the issues that distract them from what is most important. It has been shown over and over that people are not rational, even when it is in their best interest. In the long run each individual’s interests are best served with complete Freedom. Those who oppose complete Freedom cannot seem to drop their short term selfishness of having some control over their fellow Americans. Issues are the enemies of Freedom. They distract, divide, anger, cause lies, create enemies and cause harm to fellow Americans even when that is not what they were trying to accomplish. They give the usurpers in Washington the opportunity to manipulate Americans however they wish. And thus, we have the tyrannical controls that burden our Country.

The Tea Party Movement is the closest America has come to defending Freedom that we have seen since the civil war. The TPM is the best vehicle to return America onto the path of real greatness. However, the movement does not FOCUS ON FREEDOM. It’s members are strongly in favor of Freedom although many, if not most have different requirements that they would like the Government to force on their fellow Americans. Their desires for various laws take Freedoms from other individuals. They must learn the eternal truth that "if all are not free, none are free." Again, issues are the enemies of Freedom. Whether it is social security, environment, education, gun control, abortion, marriage, balanced budgets, or any of hundreds of issues, they are divisive and will thwart the efforts toward Freedom for all. The goals are in the right direction but fall far short of the unconditional surrender of the usurpers in Washington. This year’s history in Congress has made it very clear that even a small number of people who are weak on Freedom can sabotage an entire movement. This picture clearly shows the failure of Democracy as a means of keeping America Free. Democracy is mob rule so when the mob wants to take from others, it is OK if it has a majority. This is the reason the Founders rejected Democracy. The Constitution does not support Democracy nor even mention it.

RAISE YOUR SIGHTS to FOCUS ON FREEDOM which is the message that covers all other issues. The slogan "Don’t Tread on Me" should be expanded to "...so I won’t Tread on you."
