PUTTING IDEOLOGY ASIDE
 

With reference to the Think Long Committee, those who put ideology aside show the weakness in their principles.  The ideology of America is Freedom.  Any deviation from Freedom is putting the principles upon which America was founded behind some other human failing such as power and greed.  America’s birth was based on minimum government and that should be the dominant theme of every action taken by Government people.  When that is pushed aside for other seemingly more important “fixes” it becomes obvious that those who lean in that direction have another agenda in mind other that the Freedom of every individual. Compromising Freedom is evil.  This premise holds true whether it be the State of California or the Nation.  

California has often been the leader of trends that work their way across America, sometimes for good and sometimes for evil.  For many years the State Legislators have been leaning in the direction of evil, which is any action that takes Freedoms from the individual and gives more vicious power to the State.  It would be something to be proud of to be the State that leads the Nation away from the tyrannical control of state employees.  The Think Long Committee for California, by focusing on the taxing method at the expense of Freedom are just a continuation of the big Government ideas that have brought on this financial problem.  How could the people who caused the problem be trusted to fix it? That is ridiculous.  Getting rid of the income tax with its evil results should be the goal rather than encouraging the tyranny to continue.   How do we get more money from the people of California is not the way to Freedom, nor is it the way to peace.  All efforts should be on eliminating income taxes and no effort on increasing them.  Only Freedom for every individual will bring peace.  Taxes breed divisiveness.  FOCUS ON FREEDOM for the good of everyone in California.
