Simply Freedom

The American people are very divided in their philosophy of life. Most think that the Federal government, as well as state and local governments, should play a rather large part in their lives. Though the reasons are quite varied the reliance on government is very heavy. There are so many issues that divide Americans that it is very divisive and confusing to list them if that was even possible. There are some large categories that seem to stand out. The "gimme" issue is probably the largest and probably the most prevalent of all. The "gimme" issue encompasses two types, the takers for their own benefit and the takers for someone else’s benefit. The takers for another’s benefit may also be self-serving due to the false satisfaction one receives from giving, even if it has been taken from someone else. But the big, simple truth is that it is very, very tough to compete with free stuff. One would think that the human experience shows that Freedom would be the most important desire in life. That may be true if the parties have not experienced the dependence and servitude that can come from free stuff. The manipulators have a certain skill in lying, misleading and hiding the fact that one is being manipulated and used for someone’s else benefit. All of the diversions of issues are opportunities for the politicians to work on the psyche of the takers and use them to their best advantage which is always more power over the weak. Knowing that free stuff and distractions are toughest obstacles to overcome the Freedom fighters must be very diligent in outlining a simple, clear single message that can be easily understood by everyone and can stand up against the free stuff and distractions. The simple message of absolute Freedom from government people can hold the key to achieving Freedom.

Most Americans, whether it be the takers or those who desire to live free are addicted to some type of government largess or they want the government to force some behavior. Most people do not want to admit it because it can be somewhat demeaning to themselves if they realized it. Like any addiction, the first step to recovery is recognition and admission of the dependency. That must be taught to the American people because they don’t understand what Freedom is. How can they choose a lifestyle when they can’t picture it.

This is a teaching challenge. There is only Freedom or some level of serfdom. They must be taught to choose Freedom. They must see themselves living in Freedom as a better life for them to participate in such a massive change. Obama has just accomplished a revolution in less than 4 years. It was done with free stuff. Freedom will never be free. It must always be fought for on a daily basis. The people must feel, in their hearts and minds, that Freedom is moral, Socialism is not. The basis of all socialism is theft, taking from some, by force, to give to others, whether the taking is property or rights. The constant FOCUS ON FREEDOM must be clear, consistent and simple. Every issue that comes up must be met with the question "Is this Freedom?" Otherwise Freedom will be lost in the distractions that appear daily. Congress has proven itself incapable of controlling their appetite for power. The mainstream media has proven itself to be incapable and tied to socialism so they will be of no service in the battle for Freedom. This (non-violent) revolution must be powered by the few people in America who understand absolute Freedom and have the guts to go after it. As in any endeavor worth achieving it takes clarity of purpose, determination and persistence to reach the goal. Only the FOCUS ON FREEDOM will return Americans to Freedom.
