SUPPORTING TYRANNY
A dictionary defines tyranny as: the government or conduct of a despot, or cruel and unjust ruler or master; cruel or oppressive government; the tyranny of the majority; a cruel and oppressive act. Democracy is, in short, government by the people. When a democracy protects the Freedom of every individual, it is a just government. When a democracy oppresses any of the people, to any degree, it is tyranny (hard or soft), at least to those who are on the receiving end of the oppression. Also, it is only those on the receiving end who can say whether it is a hard or a soft tyranny. Therefore any oppression on the innocent is a tyranny. Then, there exists an unjust government.
To oppress is to burden, to overpower, suppress tyrannize over, to weigh heavily upon, physically or mentally, subdue. Laws are made to control the bad guy, but they also oppress the innocents (the good guy). This fits with an unjust government. Since America has been inundated with Federal laws that oppress everyone, at one time or another, it places America's Federal Government well into the category of an unjust government.
A tyrant is defined as one who has usurped the power and rules illegally (such as not following the constitution), but not necessarily unjustly or cruelly, a ruler or master who uses his great power to oppress those under him. America's form of government, although the best hope for the Freedom of the individual, has been usurped (hijacked) by oppressive thinking to the point of the ruination of the Country. Socialism, by definition, is the taking of Freedom. Well meaning and not so well meaning people have teamed up to turn America in the opposite direction (tyranny) than that which the Constitution spelled out (Liberty). Almost all administrations, and all congresses have been guilty of suppressing Freedom. It is counterproductive and a major distraction to waste time and energy pointing fingers when the FOCUS ON FREEDOM is the issue.
It is not for the one who has supported the oppression to say what is oppressive and what is not. Only the oppressed can answer that with any credibility. Those who support this oppression, whether trying to do good or bad, have put themselves into the position of being the tyrants, by the dictionary definition. Anyone who is involved in this process falls into this category, including Presidents, Congressmen and Congresswomen, Supreme Court Justices, Bureaucrats and voters. It is almost all-inclusive. The great majority of Americans have brought this treachery, not only on themselves, but upon all of the innocents who choose to live in a free America. It is they who have upset the balance of peace and encouraged this war on Freedom. It is hoped that peace can be regained peacefully, but that will require the rethinking by those who have been the aggressors against Freedom. Eighty years of oppression on some is more than enough. When all are not free, none are free. FOCUS ON FREEDOM.
FOCUS ON FREEDOM.
