WEEKLY THOUGHTS:

THE SECOND REVOLUTION

This second revolution is in it’s infancy but has progressed enough to begin consolidating the issues into one main, and most important issue. The issue is Freedom, Freedom from government. The entire Constitution is written to restrict government power. As we can see we have failed to keep government in the bindings that the Founders designed. We are the ones at fault. We, as individuals, must restrain ourselves from asking anything from government other than that which was specifically spelled out in the Constitution. It is this constant demand on government that gives politicians the opening to do their mischief. It may be wise for true patriots to re-read one of the most important documents during the founding period. That document is Thomas Paine’s "Common Sense", that fired up the colonists to take on the most powerful military in the world. The pamphlet was the "best seller" at the time, comparable, by ratio of population, to Harry Potter’s sales in the recent past. The message of the pamphlet was to gain Independence from England and King George (meaning the government). The main point he was making was not to settle for anything less than independence and Freedom. The efforts and lives and treasure that would be expended would not be worth it if only a delay of abusive taxes and oppression were achieved by reconciling with the parliament and King George (read our government) to allow them to bring on the oppression another day. His focus was on complete and final victory with independence for the colonies. It would do well for the future of America for all of us to FOCUS ON FREEDOM and regain individual independence from the tyrants in Washington D.C. There will be many who enjoy the oppressive controls over us and some even ask for more tyranny, thinking it is for the common good. For whatever their reasons, none of their reasons justify their taking the Freedom from anyone who does not want to give up Freedom. So far this is a non-violent Civil War between those who want Freedom and those who choose to be subservient to the tyrants in Washington. It is an immoral act for this government, as well as our fellow citizens, to force their will on those Americans who are against this tyranny. The attitude of the majority in Congress and the Administration is to negotiate, use diplomacy, compromise and keep themselves in power over us. This compromising always means a loss of Freedom. Freedom cannot be negotiable to any person who has the spirit of independence in his or her being. But if some are of a mind to give up Freedom let them do it only for themselves and not force it upon a neighbor, family member or even a stranger. That would be immoral by any decent standard.

In case anyone thinks that tyrants is too strong a word for our President or Congress, the dictionary says a tyrant is one who has usurped power and ruled illegally but not necessarily unjustly or cruelly. This certainly fits our current President and Congress. They have certainly ruled illegally by usurping powers not given them in the Constitution. They have ruled illegally because their first task as office holders is to protect the Freedom of each individual, not give some individuals something at the expense of other individuals. They are unjust in that they do things that are not for the common good, but good only for some of the people, and harmful to others. That is not justice. They have certainly been cruel in that they want to appear to try helping one segment of the population while creating great hardship on another segment of the population. That is cruelty. Their methods of enforcing their arbitrary tyrannies are both vicious, violent and cruel. Our Congress and President are much greater tyrants than the Parliament and King George could ever have hoped for. And all of this done by the use of the tasteless BIG LIE that we are free individuals.

We, the Freedom lovers, will probably never convince the supporters of tyranny that Freedom is the only conscionable way to achieve peace. Peace by force whether in the Soviet Union or China or in America is not peace. It is toleration of tyranny and it is not lasting because people will only be patient temporarily and then they will rebel, as is happening now. Since the tyrants’ philosophy is to accomplish things by force, they must only understand force. Therefore it is incumbent on us to use all of the non-violent force we can muster to overcome their tyranny and to convince all citizens that their support of ANY government program is supporting tyranny upon someone. Also, the most humane way is to get it over with as soon and as painless as possible and never take our eye off the ball, which is complete Freedom. Every trick in the book of politics and violence will be used to pull us off of the path to victory. We can’t be swayed by sweet talk or the ultimate goal will be extremely difficult to reach. Those of us who know Freedom and know the positive effects of Freedom will not back off. The importance of not "giving aid and comfort to the enemy" by supporting or receiving anything of the government programs can not be over stressed. This means not supporting any of their programs. Because a tyrant feeds the poor does not change him from being a tyrant, especially when he is doing it with funds from the plunder of others.

The success of this fight for FREEDOM will be in the power of the individual, not the power of a political party nor the charisma of a leader. This country was founded by the power and desire of individuals. There was no specific leader or party. Each individual fighting for his or her FREEDOM will attract the attention of other individuals, as the Tea Parties are doing, until it over powers the tyranny of the so-called leaders in Washington, D.C. When the FOCUS ON FREEDOM prevails future congress people will realize that they had better FOCUS ON FREEDOM for all or find another way to make a living. We will find that we do not need leaders to accomplish FREEDOM. We do need to protect the Freedom of every American because "if all are not free, none are free". The vision of Freedom of the individual means that each individual is sovereign and can lead himself or herself. There are times when a temporary leader or coordinator is desired, such as a football coach or a host at a conference or someone who makes arrangements for a rally, but he or she has no power over volunteers and has limited tasks for certain events, and nothing that is continuous or controlling. Leaders and parties are openings for the opposition to ridicule and denounce. Divide and conquer by the issues has been the winning formula for tyranny. When there are Fifty million independent people striving for Freedom it makes it almost impossible for the opposition to aim at a target. FREEDOM, being a universal desire, makes is very difficult for them to argue against. We must keep the FOCUS ON FREEDOM.

The current administration and congress are being grossly disingenuous in their comments on health care when they ridicule their opponents as being obstructionists as if that is a legitimate condemnation. The reason for Congress is to obstruct any tyranny by the Executive, which this health care, bailout, stimulus, etc, etc, etc, certainly are. Actually they are the ones who are obstructionists to securing our FREEDOM. And, as the Declaration stated, Congress must be stopped and replaced if they are destructive to these ends. The goal of those who are called ‘obstructionists’ is to maintain our FREEDOM. Letting the government have anything to do with our bodies is immoral. Can there be anything that is more intrusive and anti-freedom than directing what happens to our bodies. This is just an example to show that there is no end to the power over us that EVERY government seeks. Therefore there is no sense in playing this charade any longer. Use "common sense" as Thomas Paine urged the colonists. People have been trying to get along, discuss, compromise, reach across the aisle, what ever you want to call it for 80 years to no avail. It has failed to secure our FREEDOM, which is the sole reason to have a government. STOP THIS TYRANNY. RETURN TO THE CONSTITUTION. Repeal all laws that take Freedom. FOCUS ON FREEDOM for all.
