Freedom Loses When...
Freedom loses when issues fog the vision. Every issue that appears in the eyes or ears of the public or in the eyes or ears of the politicians does damage to Freedom to the extent that Freedom was lost incrementally by Americans over 100 years ago. There are issues and there are sub-issues, all of which take the focus away from the single most important issue in America. And that issue is Freedom for all Americans, and for that matter, Freedom for every human being on the planet. America set the example of Freedom for the world and then immediately began attacking it and weakening it by losing the Focus that made America successful. There will always be attacks on Freedom due to the many individuals who have many opinions, both good and bad, of how their fellow citizens should behave. Regardless of the majority’s opinions on the issues, none of them should burden a Free people with laws executed by the heavy handed evil forces of groups of government people, especially not the Federal Government people.
There are issues and there are sub-issues and sub-sub-issues. The overriding issue at the Founding of America was Freedom from the evils of government people. Although the word was not used in the Declaration or in the Constitution, Absolute Freedom for every individual was assumed and intended. By the reading of those two documents, as well as many writings and actions of the Founders, absolute Freedom for every individual was the spirit of the documents, that limited the power of government people. As issues arose they were defeated because they infringed on Freedom. Over time the spirit of Freedom was lost by the issues diverting the consciousness, the principles and the morals of the supposed protectors of Freedom, the government people. Each issue was another nail in the coffin of Freedom.
Today, Americans of all political philosophies, are lost in the fog of issues. Immigration, jobs, healthcare, the economy, abortion, marriage rules, poverty, aggressive wars, dishonesty of government people, spying, taxes, environment, education, racism, social security, political parties, Obama, military, policing, interventions in others country’s affairs, all, and many more are issues nails in the coffin of Freedom. All sides keep these issues alive, day after day. It doesn’t help to keep discussing the issues. Reducing most arguments to economics, jobs or money matters also loses sight of Freedom. The tyranny not only has continued but has increased at a terrifying pace obscured by the fog of the issues. As long as fellow Americans, politicians, pundits, teachers, students, writers, political parties keep the issues at the forefront of American thinking there will be no return to Freedom and the experiment of 238 years ago will go down in history as a short lived one, a nice idea but Americans evidently didn’t cherish it enough to maintain it.
This is a war, a civil war, between Americans, of Freedom or government conscription and semi-slavery. Wars can only be won by Focus, and this non-violent war urgently needs the FOCUS ON FREEDOM, ABSOLUTE FREEDOM for every American, to be won. Since most Americans are lazy or disinterested, and tend to follow the crowd it is important that those who truly love Freedom FOCUS ON ABSOLUTE FREEDOM in their daily activities, at every opportunity because, as a minuscule minority it will take great effort to persuade and activate the American people into the consciousness of the values of ABSOLUTE FREEDOM. It truly is the only philosophy that has a chance to last and to perpetuate the American Dream.
FOCUS ON FREEDOM
