COMPROMISE-A TICKET TO DISASTER

In politics, Freedom is Freedom and any compromise to Freedom is allowing a degree of tyranny to infect the Freedom of individuals and thereby inflict on individuals a degree of slavery.  Currently, opinion polls indicate that approximately forty percent of Americans are OK with the Obama administration's actions, as abominable as they are.  It is evident that his supporters either have their hand in the public's purse or they have been so conditioned over the past seventy years to accept this massive amount of tyranny as a norm.  This is the enslavement of free citizens held tightly in the clutches of the oppressive government.  History has shown that there have been four presidents who have taken huge amounts of Freedom from the American people during the past one hundred and ten years.  History has also shown that there have been so called better presidents during the same period who, even though they did not take as much Freedom as the evil four, neither did they leave office with the American people having more Freedom than was enjoyed before they entered office.  Here, again, the people have been conditioned to believe that America is a Free country, and still allow their congressmen and women to buy the votes of the people by promising goodies to them and even better, the cost of those goodies will be taken from the evil rich people.  These are compromises of morals.  The people seem to ignore the fact that the congressmen and women are mostly those evil rich people, who gain their ill gotten wealth by the use of the vicious force of the government to their advantage.  How many congressmen leave congress without becoming millionaires? Where as the rich people in the marketplace do not have the guns or the power to force anyone to buy their product or services.  They have to earn their wealth by satisfying the needs or desires of their customers.  Any American can do the same with the will, energy and determination to succeed.  Who are the villains?

Nearly all congressmen break their oath of office by taking Freedoms and wealth from the people when they are voted into office to preserve the Freedoms and property of the people. This is a major compromise of morals.  Why do people rationalize the need for government when in fact government people are only looking out for themselves at the expense of the people who vote them into office?  Amazing!  "Never trust a politician," has been learned over several thousand years of history, but seems to be ignored by the voters. Yet politicians continue to be able to milk the votes from the people, usually by promising something that they must take from other individuals.  These are compromises of morality, on both sides.  Where are their morals?  The past one hundred and ten years of compromises by politicians and voters have brought nothing but oppression upon America.

When Americans set aside their prejudices and FOCUS ON FREEDOM for not only themselves but also for their friends, families, neighbors and strangers, America can return to the free country that it was two hundred years ago.  It has lost its luster, not because of foreign policy, nor because of the perceived good it has done, but because it has lost the FOCUS ON FREEDOM.  Fighting, name calling, ridiculing, criticizing, belittling, lying about or denigrating anyone is counterproductive to a free country and can very well lead to the loss of the greatest country this planet has ever seen.  To be an example to the world as well as to the youth of America, people must stop compromising and stop trying to get goodies from government but FOCUS ON FREEDOM. Compromises on Freedom, at any level, will only lead to serfdom.
