BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR VOTE
Most people do not take responsibility for their votes. They vote for vicious actions to be viciously forced on fellow faceless citizens without a thought of the damage that they are causing those fellow citizens. They would not attempt to do the same thing face to face. They even do terrible things to their friends and family in the voting booth that they know they would not do or could not get away with face to face. This is a flaw that most people have. It is as discourteous as one can get with those close to them. It has become common place to brush off or laugh off the differences in political viewpoints by avoiding talking about it. It is important to find out who it is that is bringing hardship to you or someone you know behind your back in the voting booth. You must admit it is devious.
Generally, the aggressor, (the one voting to take someone's Freedom) will brush it off by saying that this is a democracy (the majority can be tyrants over the minority) and it was millions of other voters that brought the attack on Freedom. This is not taking responsibility for one's vote. NO SNOWFLAKE FEELS RESPONSIBLE FOR AN AVALANCHE. The only way to take responsibility for your vote is to think of yourself as the swing vote. That is the way many on the receiving end of an anti-Freedom vote view their friends or family or strangers, and rightfully so. This lack of common courtesy hidden behind the curtain of a voting booth is what has brought this country to this precipice of a non-violent CIVIL WAR. Why people think that it is acceptable to take a fellow citizen's Freedom is beyond rational thinking. There are many Freedom oriented, voluntary ways of accomplishing the thousands of diverse ideas without rushing to government for the violent force of the gun. The entire Constitution was written to avoid such a tyranny. The dishonesty in interpreting the Constitution has cost us our Freedom.
Government is only FORCE, by the use of the gun. People who go to government to accomplish something, anything, do so for the use of the gun. That is about as anti-Freedom as it can get. Government's use of guns should come about only in the preservation of Freedom, not in the taking of Freedom. In a free country it is immoral, unconstitutional and extremely bad manners. Tom Palmer of the Cato Institute sums it up in a statement similar to "folks should not do harm to other folks, and they shouldn't take their stuff". This was the plan of America.
Laws, by definition, are restrictions on Freedom. It follows that laws are not good for America, as they always restrict the Freedom of some individual. Think, two or three times before voting a restriction on someone's Freedom, yours could be next. Laws cannot give Freedom to Americans because Americans already own Freedom and government cannot give that which is does not have to give. If you FOCUS ON FREEDOM for all Americans in each election you will find that you will always vote no to any laws, because they always do harm.
