Responsibility
The problem of what Americans should do with the children who have illegally come across the southern American border with Mexico is entirely the responsibility of the parents of those children. Misinformation as well as outright lying by government people, media people and many citizens has created the perception of another crisis that must be "fixed" by the government people and paid for by the American taxpayer. The cause of the problem lies directly in the lap of the government people who have, as usual, intentionally or negligently encouraged and or allowed this mass of illegitimacy. The ultimate solution of the problem should be to send them all back to where they came from. It seems the first step should be for government people together with 100s of interested volunteers to contact the parents or other contacts of the children, check out their legality by normal procedures, deport them if they are illegal or follow the normal procedures that have always been in place. All expenses are to be paid by the parents, whatever these expenses may be. Any parent who would risk their child’s health, safety and life in this manner is somewhat irresponsible, at the least, and needs to be accountable with that obvious fact.
There are many ways to stop this immediately. Beefing up the border patrols at common crossing points, by volunteers if necessary, working with the Mexican government to stop the boarding and de-boarding of trains at their southern and northern borders, before they enter America, are the two most obvious actions the government people should have taken within the first two weeks of this illegal immigration last fall or sooner.
There are those who, honestly believe in open borders but who let that philosophy out-weigh the Freedom of all Americans. The philosophy of proper immigration is a good policy however, it is an irresponsible government if it brings harm to Americans. The only justification for government people is to protect the Freedom of Americans. If and when the theft of American’s Freedom is stopped, open borders are a good thing.
A few examples of what can happen to Freedom without the proper safeguards in place are the following:
Consider that 80 years ago California was a fairly free thinking State. Since that time millions of socialist thinkers have moved in to make California a solid socialist State to the detriment of the citizens of California who enjoyed their Freedom before the influx. It is not ok. It is irresponsible. If America means Freedom, it is anti-American.
Consider San Francisco 80 years ago when it enjoyed a fair amount of Freedom and now has turned into an example of what not to do in a Free country. The voters there have decided that they can control every part of their friends’, families’ and neighbors’ lives. It is not ok. It is irresponsible. If America means Freedom, it is anti-American.
Consider the havoc, costs and loss of Freedom to Americans caused by the influx of Mexicans to America’s lawmaking issues over the past thirty years. This is not an anti-immigrant issue. For verification of this fact reread newspaper articles over the past thirty years. It is an issue of American’s Freedom. The influx has been very disruptive to American’s Freedom regardless of the perceived benefits of this influx. Groups of the immigrants, as well as American citizens think that it is ok for foreign people, without standing in America, to help or force American policy. It is not ok. It is irresponsible. If America means Freedom, it is anti-American.
Consider the possibility that the influx of people from socialist countries over the past 110 years has warped the American Freedom thinking to one that implies Freedom is doing what you are told or what the majority thinks is correct at the expense of the individual. It is not ok. It is irresponsible. If America means Freedom, it is anti-American.
It is the responsibility of each individual American to protect his or her Freedom as well as other individual Americans’ Freedom before America can once again be called a free country. It is the responsibility of all parents to teach Freedom to their children. It is the responsibility of all teachers to teach Freedom to their students. It is the responsibility for all government people to protect the Freedom of each individual American, by never making any law that restricts the Freedom of any innocent individual American.
On this anniversary of America’s independence, we cannot celebrate our independence because we no longer are nor have we been independent for over 100 years. We are now dependent pawns of the government people and their ability to extract the wealth of Americans, by force. Approximately one half of Americans are dependent on the government people in some way. That is not Freedom. Most Americans refuse to acknowledge that they are dependent. It makes it difficult to get their attention. To get their attention puts the responsibility directly on the shoulders of those who realize that the evil of dependency is a form of slavery. Any form of slavery is anti-American.
For America to be Free, it must be absolutely free. Any infringement on any innocent individual’s Freedom means infringements on everyone’s Freedom. Freedom is a simple concept. It usually requires effort only when someone is attempting to take it, otherwise it normally means do nothing, mind your own business. When one maintains the FOCUS ON FREEDOM it is a simple step to realize that it means ABSOLUTE FREEDOM. Anything less than ABSOLUTE FREEDOM is not Freedom. Freedom and responsibility go hand in hand. You can’t have one without the other. Every individual has the responsibility all of the time.
On this 4th of July, this day to celebrate Independence, become independent. FOCUS ON FREEDOM, ABSOLUTE FREEDOM. Love Freedom, love America, love people. Do no harm. These things are the makings of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
