WEEKLY THOUGHTS:

Should a robber break into my house, and with a dagger at my throat make me seal deeds to convey my estate to him, would this give him any title? Just such a title, by his sword, has an unjust conqueror, who forces me into submission. The injury and the crime is equal, whether committed by the wearer of a crown, or some petty villain. The title of the offender, and the number of his followers, make no difference in the offence, unless it be to aggravate it. The only difference is, great robbers punish little ones, to keep them in their obedience; but the great ones are rewarded with laurels and triumphs, because they are too big for the weak hands of justice in this world, and have the power in their own possession, which should punish offenders.

Unite for Freedom

America was founded on the principle of Freedom for all Americans. There have been many cases of the bending and even breaking those principles over the life of the nation. However that is no justifiable reason to continue those evils. The word evil is used because it fits the description and reality of what loses of Freedom are to the individual who has suffered the loss. Is there anything more evil and un-American than forcefully taking the Freedom from any innocent individual. Freedom is described as the state of being Free. Being Free means no restrictions, but it does not mean no responsibility. Therefore, when the Revolutionary War ended, those individuals who lived in the colonies no longer were under the jurisdiction of England and King George. Neither were they under the jurisdiction of any national government on the continent. That means that there was no national government and therefore no national controls over them which left them completely free of any national government. The Articles of Confederation were agreed to by the sovereign people and the sovereign States as a means to assist the States in the few tasks where the States needed to act in unity, such as protecting from foreign invasion. Neither the sovereign people nor the sovereign States were under the control of the Articles of Confederation. The people were Free of a national government for about 15 years. There was very little need of a national government. A group of the people who were active in politics felt that there needed to be some agreement between the States on fiscal matters that were outstanding after the Revolutionary War. A convention was called on a voluntary basis to adjust the Articles of Confederation. When the delegates met they usurped the power given to adjust the Articles and instead argued and wrote a new document, the Constitution.

There were many individual Americans who were extremely unhappy and concerned about this abuse of power that might infringe on the Freedom that Americans had enjoyed for almost 15 years. The arguing went back and forth and was rejected by the States and the people. In order to get the people’s agreement with the new Constitution, the promise of a Bill of Rights was required by the people. The Bill of Rights was misnamed because the Constitution could not give "rights" that it didn’t possess, and in addition did not have the power to control the people in any way. The name should have been a "Bill of restrictions on the people in government." The first 10 amendments are additional restrictions on the people in government. There are no restrictions on Americans in either the Constitution nor the Bill of Rights. Still there were many arguments against the acceptance of the new Constitution. A few of the delegates to the convention finally had to write many articles in the newspapers in an attempt to convince the people and the States to accept it. These articles have been assembled and published as the Federal Papers.

Eventually enough of the States (9 of the 13) agreed to go along with the Constitution and it became the law of the land, even though it came about by a usurpation of power. But there were still many powerful people against it. It barely passed the States scrutiny. The people felt that even with all of the restrictions on the people in government, there was still a risk that they would usurp their power, as had been experienced, and become similar to the evil that they fought against in the Revolutionary War against King George and England. History has shown that their concern was well founded.

As was stated above, the evil of usurpation began even before the Constitution was written and has continued consistently, although at a slower rate since the people who had experienced the evil of King George and Parliament were still alive and they fought, non-violently, against a return to what they felt was a level of bondage. At each new generation there was a forgetting what the Revolutionary War was about and Freedom eroded little by little, "always justified."

It is necessary to recall this short, rough history lesson to remind Americans that they were once Free but no longer enjoy that status. The usurpations by the people in government have been so egregious in their criminal actions that impeachment is certainly in order. These are called criminal actions because they have flagrantly disregarded the law of the land, the Constitution. And breaking the law of the land, as well as the oaths they have taken is criminal.

It is unfortunate that this short history must be restated due to the lack of the public school systems teaching the importance of Freedom and the criminality of usurpation of powers by the people in government. With that said the reason for this writing is to convince Americans of the importance for the citizens of America to Unite for Freedom. Regardless of the many issues that divide Americans, and are used by the politicians to manipulate and condition the citizens into complete compliance with the evils of their many illegal takings of Freedom whether it be monetary or otherwise, the Freedom issue, the only issue, must unite these people to fight the evil that is thriving in Washington D.C.

The issues are so numerous that it is foolish to attempt to highlight even the major ones. The main truth to acknowledge is that every issue, no matter how important it may seem at the time, is subordinate to the importance of Freedom for all Americans, and that means all Americans. For some reason Americans have been convinced into thinking that every issue is of national importance. It is the lying, cheating thieving politicians that have conditioned the great majority of Americans to use Federal power to solve every issue of some perceived need. Americans are so addicted to the use of the vicious power of Federal, State or local government people, who use the force of a gun, that they don’t even consider voluntary methods of accomplishing their perceived good. Doing nothing is usually best. All Americans know of many evils done by the people in government but seem to accept and consent to these evils either because it doesn’t effect them directly or they want the government people to enforce other evils on "other" people so they do not want to stop the government’s ability to force compliance.

The only honest and moral way to consider an issue is to remember that politics is personal. That means to always think of your vote as the swing vote. And then consider yourself to personally be the enforcer. When you are adamant about an issue, it should make you think that you are the one who is putting your personal power over another. If you do not do this, you are not being honest with yourself nor with your fellow Americans, known and unknown. Not only that, but more importantly, your action would be against the spirit of Freedom for all, under which America was founded. In other words it is un-American, when you remember that for the past three hundred years, the character of America has meant Freedom to the world. There can be no better character trait of which to be proud.

With the character of America known around the world to be Freedom for all it is embarrassing that it is no longer true and hasn’t been for 100 to 150 years. And even more embarrassing and exasperating is that it was Americans, both the 545 who make and enforce restrictions on Freedom as well as Mr. and Mrs. America who have encouraged, facilitated and demanded these losses of Freedom of their fellow Americans. This is a sad story. At this trajectory America will soon be complete serfs, forced to produce for the tyrants in power and the tyrants in the masses.

The FOCUS ON FREEDOM that was so prevalent in colonial times, has not only been lost but is condemned as unpatriotic, selfish, greedy and other derogatory and divisive names by those whose actions seem to show a hate for Freedom. Patriotism is not loyalty to the government people or to the political parties or leaders. Patriotism is loyalty to America and to all fellow Americans, and to the idea and ideal of Freedom for all.

This writing is a plea to all of those who are guilty of giving away their’s and other Americans’ Freedom for the price of short sighted or selfish or non-selfish issues that strangle the American dream. Freedom can be regained rather quickly by millions of Patriots pledging to themselves to not consent to the shackles of restrictions on themselves or on other Americans and to fight noisily and physically (though non-violently) and persistently against any action of the Federal Government that takes Freedom or Freedom of choice. There is about a 98% chance that it is both un-Constitutional as well as un-American. All Americans, regardless of political, religious, philosophical, financial or emotional ties must put their differences aside for this, the greatest of issues. Freedom is right for everyone. And everyone’s Freedom is best for you. Let Freedom be your new, second religion. Today is a good day to begin refusing to consent to tyranny of any flavor. Always err on the side of Freedom. To beat this evil it will take every American who understands Freedom to fight their friends, neighbors, families and politicians. This is a civil war, but lets keep it civil. Violence is only justified in defense of Freedom, not in offense. FOCUS ON FREEDOM and win Freedom. Unite for Freedom.
