History Is Important For Freedom

In history there is no long term example of sustained Freedom of individuals. There have been very few real attempts at real Freedom. The percentage of government leaders misleading or outright lying to the citizens is enormous, probably in the area of 99.9%.  It is a well known fact that politicians lie, cheat and steal from the citizens of every country.  America is not an exception.  In fact America may be lied to even more than totalitarian countries because Americans have been conditioned into believing that the intent of the 545 politicians with power are working for the benefit of all citizens.

Americans are continually duped no matter how often the lies of the leaders are exposed.  Duped may not be the correct word to use for this phenomenon.  By looking at the history of elections about one half of the people vote for the evils of more government.  They are voting, give me some more of that, whatever that is.  For various reasons they must feel that they are getting what they want from "those other people," since the basis of any government motivation is the theft, by force, of some of the people, in order to buy the votes of the people who support the government.  When one speaks of the government, good or bad, one really means the people in government because government is nothing more than a piece of paper which is usually ignored or at least corrupted by the people in government.  The people in government must be thought of as dispensing evil since there is no history of a benevolent government who works for the Freedom of the citizens.  The history of America has been the erosion of individual Freedom since the first administration, under George Washington.  Evidently the power gained by the people in government is more than most individuals can resist abusing. This has happened even though every politician has preached the Freedom of Americans.

One half of the people evidently think that is just fine, and the other half must be foolish enough to believe that at the next election it will be better.  Actually each election just encourages the politicians to continue doing just what they are doing plus some, and that is to keep duping the voters, because they seem to like it.  The different issue that are used to divide the voters and favor the politicians supporters, completely ignores the only issue upon which America was founded, and that is the Freedom and equality of opportunity for every individual American.  The politicians are and have been duping Americans since the beginning.  And, they will continue doing so until they are stopped, and not by the rules that the politicians made up.

History, has vividly, violently and clearly shown that there is no end to what the people in government will do to maintain their power and special standing.  The people in government are all treated better than the common American.  They are all thieves and tyrants and must be seen as such in order to be the Free people that Americans have been duped into thinking they are.  In addition, the supporters of the thieves and tyrants must be seen with the same wisdom.

History, history, history, ancient, American and especially the past 20 years, as well as the Focus on Freedom must be kept in the forefront of the hearts and minds of as many Americans as possible to turn America away from dependency, slavery, and evil, and toward Freedom for all, equally.  Otherwise, the 50% of Americans who like tyranny will bury the rest.
