ANARCHY? ALMOST
Why can’t we just get along? This question is asked by millions of people on all sides of the political world.. The simple answer is, We Can. As soon as We decide to stop trying to control other people. This idea is as old and as basic as civilization. It’s as basic as kindergarten. Don’t do bad things to people. The Golden Rule says it. The justice system says it. Every mother says it. Yet, when we can get enough people (a majority) to do bad things to others it is perfectly alright. This is Democracy. This is the failure of Democracy. This is the reason the Founders rejected Democracy. However politicians have succeeded in duping most Americans into following their lead and doing bad things to millions of people, millions of their fellow Americans.
But, we say that we have to control the people who do bad things. Well, if that is the case we have to control Congress, the President and the Supreme Court because they do more bad things to Americans than any bad people will do. Since we have failed to control them over the past 220 years there must be a better way. Very few people do bad things. In fact, it must be less that 10%, or even less than 5%. If that is the case why do we feel the need to do bad things to the other 90% or 95%? Could it be that the government people, who want more and more power over us keep manipulating us into believing that we need them to make more and more laws and enforce them with the usual vicious force. Then they get to use that force to punish for the new law that was put in place to strengthen the original law. It is a farce. A very sad farce. Maybe we don’t need government to tell us what is right or wrong. Maybe we know that by instinct. Therefore if the only rules to live by are do not do bad things to others we do not need government to elaborate and expand on their power. Rather than controlling almost everything we do in life maybe government could do a better job of doing only those 18 or so things that are spelled out in Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution and rescind all laws that are not specifically authorized therein.
Isn’t it everyone’s dream to get along? If we did all get along there would be no need for the evil of government. Anarchy, although it has been given a bad name by those in and out of government who want to control, means ‘without government.’ It doesn’t mean chaos as they advertise. Most people, religious and non-religious would like that dream. The closer we get to that dream the better America will be, and the better example America will be to the rest of the world.
If government would FOCUS ON FREEDOM for every individual American, instead of various groups, then, maybe all Americans will learn to be responsible for their actions and responsible for what they achieve in life, rather than running to government to solve what is their personal responsibility. When Americans learn that lesson, again, then we can "just get along."
