REPRESENTATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION

For 235 years Americans have relied on their congressional representatives to secure their Liberty as promised in the preamble to the constitution. For about half of that time the representation worked fairly well although they allowed great losses of Liberty that have grown and grown until the current time when we are without most of the Liberty that we started with.

Most Americans appreciate the tremendous losses of Liberty. The government keeps them ignorant. As a result they allow the continuing usurping of more and more power by our representatives. What they refuse to understand is that "if all are not free, none are free". They seem to be so anxious to hurt a rich person or punish someone for being successful, or a myriad of other reasons, that they don’t grasp what is happening to them. By the time they realize Liberty is slipping away they will not have enough liberty to muster a defense. They will be "cooked" by incremental increases in tyranny, just as the proverbial frog in a pan of water. Representatives and Senators have not done that which they were hired to do. They think they were hired to continue to be reelected, and their method of accomplishing this is to appear to do what their constituents desire, paying no attention to the Freedom of their other constituents. There is a major conflict in what they were hired for and what they want to do.

The lesson here is that Representatives either cannot or will not protect our Liberty. The other lesson is that our fellow voters will not protect our Liberty. If we make a list of the many demands that people put on government, we have seen that they are just as tyrannical as congress in their demands for discriminatory civil rights, gun controls, illegal immigration, discriminatory health care and any number of other socialist policies. All this accomplishes is pitting one group against another. This is class warfare that is nurtured by our Representatives in order to divide and conquer us. America does not have classes, but the President and Congress keep indicating that it does by their constant race baiting, hating the wealthy, the religious, the gun enthusiasts or whatever fits the moment of their rants. They lie. Don’t let Representatives try to convince us otherwise. We are the only ones who can protect our liberty. In order to be successful at protecting our Freedom we must always FOCUS ON FREEDOM. Any slight deviation toward one issue or the other is as the camels nose under the tent. It begins the downfall of Freedom. Our founders knew that the representatives would fail to stay FOCUSED ON FREEDOM so they tried to set up a government that would have checks and balances, one branch stopping the tyrannies of another branch, but as we see it has failed. The ball is back in our court. We, as individuals, must act now. Our representatives are not representing our Freedom. They have fallen into the political game of negotiating, compromise and downright selling of votes. Freedom can not be negotiable or it WILL be negotiated away by our Representatives.

There are people whose jobs are to keep us free. We were founded on the basis of individual Freedom with no "rulers". Of these 545 (435 representatives, 100 senators, 9 supreme court justices and 1 president) people as our representatives, only about three of them will listen to an individual, one representative and two senators, if that. All of the others will vote on how you should live but you have no representation with them. So we have Representation without representation. And this illusory representation has bound us up with so many laws that no one has control of his or her individual life, directly contrary to the Constitution, and it is getting worse daily. The Representatives don’t even think, or act, as if they are representing us, which, in a way is a good thing, because we don’t want them to make laws, as many people ask, that attack our Freedom. The force of the Tea Parties can be the vehicle by which we regain our lost Freedom if we can FOCUS ON FREEDOM until we are actually free, rather than the BIG LIE from Washington that continually tries to convince us that we are free. Let us all join the Tea Parties, as individuals and show that as individuals, without leaders and without political parties, we can put America back on the track to FOCUS ON FREEDOM, repeal all anti-Freedom laws and to keep us free. The original Tea Parties offered an opportunity for advancing the cause of Freedom. Help the Tea Parties grow into many millions, stay on message of Freedom from Government as was the focus of the original revolution.
