Now consider scrambling these issues on each side of the ledger. When one does that one has a good look at the will of the American people. This shows that people have different ideas of what type of tyranny is acceptable. Sometimes one side wins and sometimes the other wins. This also makes it very clear that, because it is OK to force one's will on another as long as it is the majority over the minority, people do bad things to other people as long as they are faceless and as long as they don’t personally have to enforce the tyranny. As a result America is angry at some of the tyrannies and happy with other tyrannies. This is constant civil war with friends and families. Americans talk peace and getting along and working together, as long as the other people do what they are supposed to do (whatever that is). Freedom of the individual can only be maintained if each American will FOCUS ON FREEDOM, the Freedom of every other individual. To accomplish this requires a strong effort to refuse to impose one’s opinions or desires on another, by force, regardless of how right it may appear. It will only lead to the limited Freedom that Americans have brought on themselves.
The Tea Party Movement has been the most effective revolution since the Civil Rights Movement, although it was a revolution towards more dependence on government. The three core principles of the Tea Party movement are principles that lead towards the Freedom that many in the country are trying to restore. What’s not to like about them. There will always be a certain percentage of the people who do not seem to like Freedom, or at least want it watered down to their comfort range. These seem to be approximately one third. Their support for anti-Freedom policies speaks louder than their words. Therefore it is incumbent upon the lovers of Freedom, maybe less than one fourth, to do the heavy lifting to return America to the Freedom that was enjoyed immediately after the Constitution was ratified. The Tea Party people, not yet full hearted Freedom lovers, are headed in that direction and with the proper encouragement can soon be a real force for Freedom. The FOCUS ON FREEDOM will speed up and ease that transition since most of the participants lean generally in that direction. Any deviation from the FOCUS ON FREEDOM will prolong the limited Freedom and encourage politicians to work the American people to their advantage. To think that politicians work for the good of the people is naive, and shows a lack of paying attention. In fact to follow the will of the people will not bring Freedom. People can be really vicious in the voting booth.
The message of the last election is the same as every election; the swing voters keep swinging, frivolously from one flavor of anti-freedom to another. There is no FOCUS ON FREEDOM, in truth it is seldom a consideration. The principles of Freedom are not soundly implanted in the minds of the voters. Obviously the American people, as a group, do not know what they want. That is the reason there is a Reagan, then a Bush, then a Clinton, then a Bush, and then Obama the most socialist since Roosevelt. Also that is why there was 40 years of socialist control in Congress, then the 1994 short lived revolution, then elect Clinton again, then the disastrous republican run in Congress brought on the 2006 Democrat take over and Obama in 2008. Where is the stability in the American thinking? They are all over the map. This shows all to clearly that the will of the people is not in favor of Freedom. Well over one half of the people want some type of government servitude in the form of government health care of their bodies. That is too close to enslavement. In the face of over one hundred years of failed government programs, how can majorities even consider, not only continuing this dependence but ask for more of the failures of Government. The only successful program by the U.S. Government has been the brainwashing program through the government school system. This brainwashing disease has pushed out sound thinking.
Dependence on government results in the loss of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness. Real success in a country comes about by the Freedom of the people. In order to regain Freedom one must maintain the FOCUS ON FREEDOM. Everyone knows that Freedom is not free. It must be fought for by the people to FOCUS ON FREEDOM, every day, in every activity, in every election, in every discussion of issues. Freedom from government is the greatest of Freedoms. Freedom is so fragile that it must be cared for constantly. It will always be under attack. Compromise on Freedom losses Freedom. Peace and Freedom can only become permanent by the constant FOCUS ON FREEDOM, both for one's self and for all fellow Americans.
