ISSUES DIVERT OUR FOCUS ON FREEDOM

During the past ten years there have been many issues, domestic and foreign, that have burdened the minds and energies of Americans. These include, but are not limited to, war in Iraq, torture of suspected terrorists, income taxes, spying on citizens, health care, environmental protection, global warming, international controls (the UN), financial meltdown, defining marriage, discriminations (race, women, gays, animals, etc.), religion in laws, education, etc. This list can go on and on because there are over 120 million voters in the country, many of which want a say in how the country should or should not be managed. Our Constitution says very clearly that THE COUNTRY SHOULD NOT BE MANAGED BY THE GOVERNMENT. Each individual should be able to manage his or her life as it is most comfortable. All of the issues that come up onto the political radar screen are issues of one or more people wanting to "fix" something that effects others’ lives either to the good or bad depending who you are asking. Then, our socialist education to "get involved", comes into play. The great majority of the time that means "get involved" politically and get government to use force to accomplish that which could be and should be accomplished in voluntary ways. This has proven to be an extremely anti-Freedom endeavor and has resulted in the multitude of tyrannical laws that permeate our lives. We have brought it on ourselves to destroy our Freedom. Each little or big issue has chipped away at our Freedom to the point that government is now in control of our bodies. Nothing can be more tyrannical than that. We are now close to the end of Freedom of the individual, which was the entire theme of the founding of this country and the creation of our Constitution of limited government. The politicians have turned the Constitution upside down so that they control us instead of us controlling them. All of this done by the deceit of politicians and our fellow countrymen and women.

Getting caught up in the issues at the expense of Freedom has shown how easily tyrants can work the shallowness, the greed and the frivolousness of the public to usurp the powers that were restricted from them in the Constitution. Even the so called "good" people in Congress have been captured by the corruption of power that seems to swallow up good intentions. Government has succeeded in making the rules to their liking and to their benefit whereas the Constitution did not allow it. This "fog" that the issues keep us in allows the politicians to sneak in and continue to reduce our Freedom. Although the issues need to be addressed in an attempt to stop them, the history has shown that reducing the tyranny of a new law has at best only slowed it temporarily, and let it gain more power. Temporary fixes quite often only strengthen the tyrants to rework their evil and attack Freedom another day and another way.


The ridiculing of certain Congressmen or the Administration is another diversion that takes our minds off of the big picture, which is FREEDOM FOR ALL. This War on Washington has been going on since the Constitution was first ratified. This is just as the founders envisioned. That is why they said it takes constant vigilance to keep Freedom. We have failed at that. But now is an opportune time to retake the government and put it back into the box of the Constitution. THIS CANNOT BE ACCOMPLISHED BY FIGHTING ISSUES. Like a normal war, each battle must be fought as it shows itself, however the winner will never lose sight of the ultimate victory of complete Freedom for all Americans. If that vision is lost, final victory will also be lost. It is evident that Americans are amassing in Tea Parties and in other groups to fight back against the tyranny. Just as in the first revolution there were loyalists to the King of England, this war has loyalists to socialism. That will never change so they must be overpowered by the force of millions of peaceful marches, letters, persuading of independents and every other mechanism that is non-violent. The colonists revolted in non-violent actions and were met with the vicious force of guns by the King. Since government is only force, it must be anticipated that the government will use any force at its disposal to stop the opposition to tyranny, if it gets the chance. It usually begins with character assassination.


Every issue that comes up must be met with opposition to government power, even if the issue has some merit to it, because government will always twist it, turn it and remake it into another government power grab and punish those who disobey. Do not support tyranny, no matter how incidental the issue is. Always Vote no and find a voluntary way to do good. Maintaining the FOCUS ON FREEDOM no matter what the issue is the secret to success in this most important War on Washington.

IS HATE THE BASIS OF AMERICA'S TYRANNY?


Although compassion is given as the reason Democrats are forcing healthcare on the people and although they tout themselves as wanting to help people how is it that they have harmed about half of the people in the country who have been telling them for a year that they do not want healthcare.  What kind of compassion is that?  They seem to build consensus by building hate of the opposition and trying to make them feel guilty for their Freedom motives.  Along with Congress' unconstitutional motives they have constantly ridiculed, threatened, denigrated, lied about, and spouted hateful words describing the people who have said "no" to health care.  There arguably hasn't been a party or a President who has preached hate as much as this party and this President and the hateful messages are based on lies and the people saying them know that.  They know that there is very sound thinking and differences in what liberty is.  One party believes in liberty and limited government and the other party believes is strong overpowering government and limited liberty.  One party understands this difference and the other party either doesn't understand it or is being disingenuous with it's harsh comments.


 

Hate is a very strong word but it may be the only word that fits the personal animosity shown toward anyone who disagrees with their opinion.  Even though there may be degrees of hate it is still hate.  It is almost a given that when there is a disagreement about an anti-freedom position the party attacking freedom will turn the argument into a personal attack rather that stick to the issue.  It must either be a lack of understanding Freedom or an actual hate for Freedom.  Regardless of what the motivation is for their position the fact remains that there is no sense in discussing their taking the Freedom of individual Americans because the Constitution was written to preserve individual Freedom.  The very first consideration in lawmaking has to be "does this law take any innocent individual's Freedom?" (This was the case in the earlier days of America.) If it does that has to be the end of the discussion.  Eventually we will realize that, by definition, every law is a restriction on Freedom.  Citizens should come to the conclusion that the only Federal laws that may be needed are restrictions on government personnel, from the President to the freshman bureaucrat.  The average citizen does not need restrictions, at least not by the Federal government.  Only those who bring harm to others need to be corrected and that is the States' or local job, not the Federal government.  When Americans regain the spirit of America and the spirit of Freedom then every anti-Freedom law will be stopped in it's tracks by the FOCUS ON FREEDOM.  Only then will America again become the reality of the dream that the world once had for America.


 

Hate is out of hand.  It is the exploitation of hate that politicians pitch to the public in their misguided efforts to win favor on a particular issue.  The politicians who use hate this way should be ignored and their credibility shattered.  If the FOCUS ON FREEDOM is followed hate disappears.


 

During April of 2010 Democrats were stirring up the hate pot by accusing Tea Party people of spitting on them and calling them "the N word."  This persisted at least until mid July.  So far there has been no verification of this even though the Democrat leaders were baiting the Tea Party people.  It seems the first tactic of attacking the opposition is character assassination no matter how untrue the attack is.  The President showed his true colors by ridiculing the opposition to his agenda by stating untruths which he knew were untrue.  The extreme Hate of these people seems to expose their win at any price, no matter how many untruths are propagated.  The ends justify almost any means.  During the week there were callers to talk shows that repeated these untruths with a great hate passion. The haters have been working this strategy with the shallow thinkers in the public for a hundred years.  The goal is always to pit one group, like the less wealthy, against the wealthy by creating hate towards the wealthy, whether true or not.  Generally, this has worked very well for them because they have succeeded in playing on the greed of those who want a bigger piece of the action or those who want to punish someone for some perceived problem, whether or not they have earned it.  It would be an interesting study to see how many times race and hate have been used during the first year of the Obama administration in order to sell the government take over of America.  Hate speech is alive and well used by the people who preach the direct opposite.  Those who FOCUS ON FREEDOM are the enemies of the big government people.  Keep the Tea Parties growing in order to stop this abuse of power and the ruination of America.  Don't support the haters, FOCUS ON FREEDOM.
