Freedom Is Like Pregnancy

At least in one respect Freedom and pregnancy are similar. You are, or you are not. One is either pregnant or one is not pregnant. And similarly, one is either Free or one is not Free. It is simple to understand and it is definite. One cannot be a little bit pregnant and likewise, one cannot be a little bit Free. People may disagree with this by saying that even the slaves were a little bit Free on certain occasions, such as after work. However, it must be realized that the slave master allowed them that which meant that he could take that little bit of so called Freedom away, at his pleasure. Whenever Freedom can be taken away by the choice of others, one is not Free. That extremely important point is lost in the fog of the thousands of issues that come up in everyday political life. And it is precisely the issues that the public and politicians use to force their will on their innocent and compliant fellow Americans. The people are putty in the hands of the will of Congress, The President, the Supreme Court, the bureaucrats and the will of the American People at large, all of which are very capable of doing or causing evil to various groups. Americans are not Free and have not been so for most of the time since the founding. The evils of government people and of their fellow Americans have overwhelmed and kicked out the ideal of Freedom from the minds of the compliant. They don’t seem to even understand the word Freedom. Pregnancy can be easily aborted and so has Freedom been easily aborted.

Is it possible that Freedom can be better learned by spelling out what it is not? Dependency is clearly what Freedom is not. Social Security, medicare, Federal unemployment payments, Obamacare, general welfare, corporate welfare, bailouts, Federal education programs, financial insurance programs (FDIC), food stamps are all examples of what Freedom is not. The list goes on and on. These dependencies, the opposites of Freedom, are contrived by government people to strike fear and make Americans believe that they cannot do without the constant fatherly help of Big Government People and their ever increasing intrusions. And what is equally evil is that the funds for these enslaving programs must first be forcefully confiscated from fellow Americans. In addition to financial dependencies there are many non-financial dependencies that many Americans demand of their government people that are either unconstitutional, not Constitutionally allowed or just frivolous abuses of power on the part of the Federal government people as well as the public. Some of these demands are the definition of marriage, restrictions on behavior, gun controls, so called civil rights, labor laws, unions, environmental laws, manipulative Federal education, Obamacare, setting morals or setting what is right or wrong, courts for minor disputes, social justice, abortion, religious decisions, contraception, gay rights, minority rights, privacy issues, banking regulation, job creation. Basically, there is a great reliance on government people for the pursuit of happiness, something that is the job of every individual to seek for herself or for himself. If one is dependent on government people for any of these issues that one is in the clutches of evil and can expect the consequences for him, his family, his friends and his fellow Americans. History has shown over and over again that there are consequences. Americans are currently living with the consequences of over 100 years of previous evils. ABSOLUTE FREEDOM for all can avoid the great majority of these consequences, not all, but at least the man made consequences. FOCUS ON FREEDOM, ABSOLUTE FREEDOM for all. Never abort Freedom.
