To want us to rise above divisiveness is to want us to be non-human. No more chocolate and vanilla. No more Cadillacs and Toyotas. No more differences of opinions. Let’s just all be plain vanilla. Let’s all be socialists and let the "wise leaders" or the "majority mob" make our decisions for us. Divisiveness is a human trait. Without it humans may still be swinging in the trees and controlled by the dominant gorilla. It is divisiveness that has moved man to progress to the state that it now resides and it will be divisiveness that will continue this progress of learning that divisiveness is not a sin but a salvation from the robotic monotony and burdensome desolation of enslavement and mob rule. There will always be divisiveness and that is a good thing. If there wasn’t divisiveness there would be no Declaration of Independence. The problem comes when the majority mob chooses to control the minority by force and does not want to hear or deal with the contradictory comments because the mob knows better. Divisiveness is a most admirable trait in humans and will help us on our way to peace if the people who do not like it will refrain from forcing their opinions, of how to live, on other people. It is the immoral force that is the problem, not the divisiveness. To FOCUS ON FREEDOM for all will cure that shortcoming.
