IT’S UP TO ME

When one looks seriously and deeply into the state of America’s Freedom, one cannot help but see that it has deteriorated to such a low level that Freedom is almost non-existent as compared to the day after the Constitution was ratified in 1789. An honest reading of the Constitution will show a glaring absence of any powers of control over the American people by the people in government. The entire Constitution was written for the American people to control the people in government who have been hired to protect the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness of the citizens. The Founders knew that people in government are not capable of controlling their greed for power, leaving it up to the American people to force government people to only act within the confines of the Constitution. The people in government have proven the Founders were correct in their concerns. And, in addition, the American people have proven the concerns of the Founders to be correct in that they have not been capable of binding government people to the Constitution. The people have been manipulated by their greed and by the politicians into believing that they must follow the politicians laws and that it is ok to take from fellow citizens. A complete reversal of the original intent.

What is even more exasperating is the greater majority of Americans who say they want Freedom and don’t trust the government but still, insanely, want government to enforce certain pet issues, on their fellow countrymen, that are not authorized in the Constitution. They, too, are weak on Freedom and by their actions encourage the government people to further expand their controls and restrictions on Freedom. They should be ashamed when they look at themselves in the mirror each morning. What possibly could make them believe that their desires of government force should carry more weight than the opposition’s desires? If all are not Free, none are Free.

Therefore, if the ‘good guys’ can’t be counted on to make America Free again, it’s up to me to refuse to support, mentally, verbally or physically, any laws, executive orders, regulations or actions of government people that are not spelled out clearly in the Constitution. There are many ‘absolutes’ in life including but not limited to, don’t murder, don’t steal, and don’t do harm to others. In order for the people in government to do the job they were hired to do, they must absolutely ‘Honor the Constitution.’ No reading between the lines and making up unwritten powers. That is corrupting the ‘idea’ of America. America was formed for Freedom and nothing else, because Freedom covers all issues. Maintaining the FOCUS ON FREEDOM is the only means of keeping the peace within America. Over half of Americans want Federal government controls over their countrymen. How can that possibly keep the peace? This is a civil war. It must be kept civil. Freedom is peace. In order to gain peace it is incumbent upon the few Freedom lovers to non-violently force Freedom on the majority who think it is ok to step on their neighbor’s toes. That is not peace. That is aggression.

Some words of Patrick Henry are eternally true, "Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined. The object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able may have a gun."

Living peacefully is a very simple concept to put in effect. Just FOCUS ON FREEDOM and keep your hands off of other peoples stuff, including their Freedom. It’s up to me.
