The Will of The People

 

Where in the Constitution does it say that the Federal Government People are authorized or instructed to obey or even consider following "the will of the people?" Where in the Constitution does it even imply that the Federal Government People are to follow "the will of the people?" Is there any possible reason to believe that the "will of the people" will protect the Freedom of every individual American, equally? Is there even any possible way to find the "will of the people." Americans, just like every other individual in the world, are so diverse in opinions and ideas that it is impossible to define "the will of the people." Just look at the results of any election. It is hard enough to get a majority to agree on anything, much less a super majority. Even a super majority leaves a one third minority who would be subject to the tyranny of the majority.

 

When one defines the People, which people are included? Are the people the rich, the poor, the fat, the skinny, the old, the young, the active, the inactive, the dumb, the smart, the middle class, the political, the non political the employed, the retired? One can easily see that there will be a great diversity of opinions.

 

That is not the dream of America. This is not the law of America. America was founded on the Freedom of each individual, not just some of the individuals. The Federal Government was formed to maintain the Freedom of every individual. Every other task clearly authorized in the Constitution is secondary to the individual’s Freedom. Any deviation from this is an intentional failure or a failure by ineptness of the people in the Federal Government. The Declaration directs and states that it is the duty of every individual American, or at least those who love Freedom, to abolish those who are destructive to those ends. Since the Constitution is inanimate, it is the people in government who must be abolished. Everyone destructive to Freedom must go.

 

The "will of the people" is not the law. The will of special interests is not the law. The will of the government people was not intended to be the law. The Freedom of the individual is the law. FOCUS ON FREEDOM.
