ONE HUNDRED TEN YEARS OF LOST RIGHTS
Since about 1900 America has been attacked by a cancer that is taking our Freedom at an ever increasing rate. The current plunderers have tyranny in high gear and it does not seem to matter that there are millions of Americans dead set against the programs proposed in Congress and the President. This is the result of the limitations of democracy. We are seeing that the tyranny of the majority over the minority can be just as evil as a dictator's tyranny. The secret to America's Freedom has not been democracy, but has been the constant battle to preserve the Freedom of the individual. The loss of the FOCUS ON FREEDOM has brought this current disaster upon us. Think about it. Laws are attacks on Freedom. There has been over one year of arguing against the tyrannical health care plan to no avail. The arrogant representatives in Washington have no interest in securing and maintaining the Freedom promised in the preamble of the Constitution. This pattern of Congress usurping powers not given in the Constitution has been going on since Teddy Roosevelt was President and has reached the point of a totalitarian government. This current battle is a win or lose battle for our Freedom. The current administration, although more aggressive than past administrations, is continuing the direction the politicians have been going for the past 100 years. Every idea proposed since coming to office has been a Marxist idea. Americans have been softened up over these years by the incremental dismantling of the Constitution by the 545 tyrants that have occupied the Washington power grid. These tyrants are 435 Representatives, 100 Senators, 9 Supreme Court Justices and 1 President. Although there have been many different people filling these positions, the outcome has been the same, loss of Liberty of Americans. That really has been a calamity to America.
The apathy of voters about the loss of Freedom of fellow Americans is appalling. The attitude seems to be, "it doesn't hurt me" or "he or they deserve it" or "it's only right" or some other shallow cliche. The foolishness and shortsightedness of that kind of thinking is shown in the phrase "if all are not free, none are free." Our individual efforts towards Freedom should be to help keep everyone free, thereby keeping ourselves free. It's just like being on a battlefield where everyone supports his buddy, because he will support you. It is a life or death matter. Support for Freedom is a Liberty or Tyranny matter for each individual. There is a great deal of tolerance of each other's idiosyncracies on the battlefield because of the teamwork that must be maintained for every individual's safety and Freedom, which translates to the safety and Freedom of the unit, in our case, America.
During the past year and one half there has been much condemning of CEO's, government people, bureaucrats, rich people, regulators etc. This is petty class warfare used to accomplish some hidden agenda by all politicians and civilians alike. This is short sighted nonsense. If the leaders of private companies cause the company trouble it is up to the Board of Directors and the shareholders to handle as they see fit, but not for government. Nor is it government's task to save the companies at the expense of the taxpayers. That is criminal. In this case it may be a slight bit of guilt (which is hard to imagine) because the basis of the problem was caused by government and the private companies getting caught up in the problem of government meddling. This is often the case because there is very little commerce done in America that government does not meddle in, making it impossible for a private company to make decisions without consideration of government meddling. People who criticize the market economy need to gain some knowledge about how much control the government has on commerce, otherwise their criticism is meaningless, based on ignorance. The removal of government from commerce, by repeal of all laws that are counterproductive, will return it to a real free market which corrects itself periodically, much cleaner and faster than government and without the unintended consequences that government laws create.
This year, the year of the Tea Parties, can be a turning point in the battle for Freedom in America. The few reversals of tyranny that have happened in the past have all been short lived and not effective for the health of America's Freedom. Republicans, when in power have been just as bad for America as the Democrats, though their tyrannies may be slightly different. Look at the history. The trick for Freedom thinking Americans, such as the Tea Parties, is to get enough congressmen and women to think Freedom rather than whatever they are doing now, which has nothing to do with Freedom. All politicians, Representatives, Senators, Justices and bureaucrats need to feel fear of the American public if they don't change their ways and FOCUS ON FREEDOM until every American is again free rather that the subtle and the not so subtle bondage that is so pervasive today. This endeavor will take FOCUS, PERSISTENCE, POWER, FORCE, TIME, EFFORT, A CONSISTENT MESSAGE AND A LARGE GROUP OF CONCERNED CITIZENS (millions of us) such as the Tea Parties. These loosely (dis)organized groups have the spirit and ability to attract many millions of individuals if the single message of Freedom is dominant. All issues can be handled by real Freedom. Remaining leaderless and un-associated with political parties gives them the credibility and will show the power of the individual in a Free society. This is much more powerful than political parties. Individualism is what made America great. We need to do it again. FOCUS ON FREEDOM.
